We suggest wrapping the part of the stake that's going inside the cake with cling/saran wrap film if you intend to eat the part of the cake where the stake is in :) We won't spray the Stake that's going into the cake to ensure proper food-safety precautions as well.

It came in as showed in the photo. I had read the description wrong and didn't see the picture depicting the item, so while it's not what I wanted, it looks as it's shown.
Just be sure to read through all the info, all the photos, and know what you're choosing.
This was the silver metallic. It's painted wood and has a painted smell to it. I don't think it looks very metallic.
